Avlaki sits in the north-east corner of Corfu, in the stretch of coast between the lively harbour village of Kassiopi and the quieter fishing village of Agios Stefanos. It is a wide pebble bay with clear water, a Blue Flag for cleanliness, sunbeds and a couple of tavernas — and, by most accounts, it stays calm even in July and August.
